Have you ever wondered how it is even possible that outrageously stupid things happen at every level of government?
I am using the word stupid, because "stupid" by Webster's definition is the perfect word for it. Reflecting the meaning as: not intelligent; having or showing a lack of ability to learn and understand things; not sensible or logical.
In simple terms, I feel it is because over time, we have been conditioned to accept things no one with common sense would accept.
Remember, "What is the definition of is, and "We have to pass the bill to find out what is in it?"
Now we are being told it is a good idea to make a deal with Iran about nuclear weapons, and people are nodding their heads and going for it. This going on while leaders of Iran are chanting death to America. At the same time Iran, the largest exporter of terrorism, is providing weapons to other enemies to kill our troops. They are not even trying to hide doing it.
Does anyone really believe Iran will keep any deal they make?
The list of these things is endless, and includes high level officials being held in contempt of Congress for refusing to answer questions about possible criminality. No one is prosecuted. One of them just happens to be Attorney General Eric Holder. Another is Mrs. Louis Learner, an IRS official that used the power of the United States government to target individual citizens.
Of course then there is Mrs. Hillary Clinton, possible candidate for President in 2016. It is reported she may have deliberately destroyed evidence in an ongoing investigation.
Collectively we cannot claim ignorance; that would mean we do not know it is going on. The truth is, we do know it is going on.
Words like uniformed or tricked do not fit this. The definition of stupid, time proven lack of ability to learn and understand things, suggests, many, if not the majority of us, really are just plain stupid.
Now, if someone calls another stupid, I understand why that person would become upset. On the other hand, if someone looks at the facts, and then believes they are stupid, that is another thing.
Here is an example of what I am talking about; I am sure you could come up with many more of your own.
On the national stage, we have literally millions of people openly just blowing off our immigration laws. As if this were not bad enough, they then collectively receive billions of dollars in reward for having done so.
It gets better with this, or maybe I should say worse. Many then protest, even march under another country's flag, making demands, and get by with it, causing laws to be changed to their benefit.
I am told it is a big picture thing, I do not understand, and I need to be a little more open minded.
Well, here comes the word game again. Because you will not accept the ridiculous, which is now the norm, you are said to be close-minded, and that is just the start of it. You are also a racist, a bully, a right-wing radical, and even un-American.
There are people that say this makes sense, and maybe it does to them, but not to me.
Rather than the big picture, let us take a look at the little picture. Okay, today a gaggle of strangers decides they are just going to move into your home.
They do not want the whole house, at least not yet anyway. They just want your living room, and one of your bathrooms. Is that too much to ask? After all you have other rooms you can use. Do not be selfish, redistribute the wealth. Remember, hope and change.
So being closed-minded you get a little upset, or maybe you get a lot upset, and show them the door.
When you do, they just plain will not leave.
So there you stand with a, "what just happened look on your face." Then one of them says, "Hey, it is dinner time," we can have steaks, if you go to the store and buy them.
Having had enough of it, you call the police, and are told it is happening all over, we cannot just kick them all out, and that ends the conversation.
They don't call the police; they call the media or a Congressman. If you are really unlucky they call the Office of the Attorney General of the United States.
Then the fun really starts, and you learn all about hate crimes, and hate speech. Now you are being forced to justify yourself. On its face it is ridiculous. I doubt there is one person in our country, even those benefited by it, that does not know it to be so.
The media likes the word game, and most politicians love it.
None of it changes the fact they are here illegally, and more are coming.
Deporting everyone here illegally would be both hard and expensive, but not more than just allowing it to continue.
Someone please tell me the names of those in either political party demanding our borders be secured. No, someone is doing the dance, with the word game, but someone is demanding it.
What is the difference if someone breaks into your country or your home?
To me, my country is my home. There is no difference.
